Here at The Goochland Community Cats, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. It is our goal to TNR (trap, neuter, and return) as many feral cats as we can, thus reducing the number of homeless cats in the county. The cats are also looked at by a vet and given a rabies shot and anything that it is deemed that they need. We provide daily care, fresh water and food for all our TNR"d cats.

WINTERS ARE ROUGH ON US
WINTER PREPARATIONS ARE UNDERWAY
One Step at a Time
Winter is coming! This is the time of year that we must prepare the cats for. We put out LOTS of Barrels and insulated them...then filled them with straw hoping that this will provide some shelter from the wind and rain. It is very labor intensive and each barrel costs about 30.00 completed. Its a rough time of the year but we visit them every single day regardless of the weather....and their sweet little souls wait patiently for us to arrive. We are all they have!
